AlphaTurf is suitable for indoor futsal pitches. AlphaTurf utilises the super tough, Thiolon yarn as its main fibre. The Thiolon yarn is considered one of the worlds’ best synthetic turf fibre. The PolyEthylene (PE) based Thiolon fibres can withstand extreme climatic conditions (sun/UV, rain, hail, heat, cold, snow & ice) and very intensive wear and use. It also has a very low slide resistance (reducing risk of friction burn - similar if not less abrasive than natural grass), has incredibly durable tensile strength, superior UV performance and is FREE from heavy metals. Thiolon is a synthetic fibre used on FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association) APPROVED sporting fields worldwide.
